How do you do it?

People often ask me how I do it…..

You know, how I manage to keep fit and work full time, look after my two children, pick them up from school every day, walk the dog three times a day and yes generally fit in a workout too….

On paper it sounds like I juggle a lot, but seriously I’m no different to you…..

You do a lot too and you still manage to get through the day and keep up with whatever demands are placed upon you.

You would find time if something extra got added onto your plate, you would manage, right?

So I wonder if it is the same for you as it was for me a few years ago when I believed that I would never be as fit as I was before I had children?

I could not see a way of fitting exercise into my life.

I was knee deep in nappies, struggling with the fog of new motherhood and generally exhausted.

It wasn’t easy and frankly if you don’t REALLY want to do it then you probably wont…

But I really did want it, I thought long and hard about the kind of lifestyle I wanted and it always involved being active, being outside as much as possible.

I wanted to be able to run after my kids, have energy and teach my kids the importance of exercise.

What do you want?

Do you see yourself in the future, fitter, healthier, having more energy than you do right now?

Would you like to start your fitness journey too?

I discovered that for me there were three things that I needed:

Mind-set

This required quite a shift. From believing that I couldn’t to exploring ways that maybe I could. There was definitely a shift, it takes some work but it’s actually a lot easier to get your head in the right place than you think.

Organisation

When my kids were very young I felt out of control, I could just about manage to organise the day right in front of me but anything more advanced was beyond me!

Organisation is key if you really want to stick to an exercise programme, you need to commit to when you are going to do it and stick to it.

What I learned to do is take one tiny step at a time, slowly taking control of one element of my health before moving onto the next.

Knowing what to do

This is where help is definitely necessary if you want to make a change, if you are unsure of what exercise you should be doing or what you should be eating, get some help!

Learn what works for you and what makes a difference for your body, we are all different so what worked for your friend Jane may not necessarily work for you.

Educate yourself and become the expert in YOU.

Once I had these elements sorted I was able to make that change, I slowly started to see that I could be the fitter person I wanted to be.

You could make these changes too.

The first step is deciding who you want to be, the rest is always possible.

This is what my Fit In Six Weeks programme is all about. Getting your head in the right place and then showing you what to do to get where you want to be.

And the best news is that I have two places available to get you fit and feeling great just in time for you summer holidays!

You can find out more here.

If you are still not quite there look out for my brand new seven day kick start programme coming soon.....

I'm off to dream about what's next and I would love to hear about who you about being in the futute too.
